Otter Creek Bridges (Old KY 90)

Four bridges over Otter Creek carry and carried KY 90 at Zula, Kentucky.

The first crossing was most likely a covered bridge or a simple truss. It was replaced with a three span concrete beam bridge in 1940. KY 90 was realigned through Zula and over Otter Creek in 1949, necessitating the erection of a larger, five span concrete beam bridge. All three former alignments were bypassed completely in 1979 when KY 90 was moved upstream when a three span steel girder bridge was completed.
