Rommels Mill Bridge carries Benedict Road over Clear Fork Mohican River in Richland County, Ohio.
The bridge is located adjacent to the ruins of Rummel Mill, constructed in 1853. 1 The first crossing of Clear Fork was a covered bridge that was destroyed in a large flood in 1913. It was replaced with a Warren through truss.
In mid-2005, Rommels Mill Bridge was dismantled and relocated to the Ohio Bridge Corporation yard where the steel members were either restored or replaced and then galvanized. 2 The US Bridge Company of Cambridge re-erected the bridge over Clear Fork in May 2006.
