Shinn Covered Bridge

The Shinn Covered Bridge is a covered Burr arch truss over West Branch Wolf Creek on Palmer Road in Washington County, Ohio. Construction of the bridge in 1886 was spurred by the near drowning of a child in a rowboat of the Charles Shinn family. E.B. Henderson was hired to build a fixed crossing which Shinn assisted in.1 2 The span was last rehabilitated in 1998.2
