The Augusta Ferry shuttles automobiles and passengers across the Ohio River between Augusta, Kentucky and U.S. Route 52 in Ohio, one mile west of Higginsport.

Located south of Nicholasville and just off of Kentucky State Route 1541, this ferry discontinued operations in the 1950s. An extensive new approach, featuring banked curves and straightaways, was constructed from the main highway to the river.

The Valley View Ferry carries Kentucky State Route 169 between Fayette and Madison Counties in Kentucky. It is Kentucky’s oldest business.
