Leisure Tunnel

Posted on February 25, 2021 by Sherman Cahal

The Lenox Railroad was a short logging and coal railroad that connected to the Morehead & North Fork Railroad at Redwine, Kentucky—which included a tunnel at Leisure. It was a short-lived venture, having been incorporated in 1918 and being abandoned in 1926 after timber and coal resources were exhausted.
