Butcher's Run Bridge

Butcher’s Run Bridge

The Butcher’s Run Bridge carries County Route 17/8 over Cedar Creek in Gilmer County, West Virginia.

The Butcher’s Run Bridge was constructed in 1898 with components from the Wrought Iron Bridge Company of Canton, Ohio. 1 The bridge underwent significant repairs in 1954 that possibly included the replacement of some structural members, and the stringers and roadway deck were replaced in 1990. 2
