The Byer Covered Bridge carries County Route 31 over Pigeon Creek in Byer, Ohio. It was constructed in 1870 by Robert W. Smith using his patent for the Smith through truss design, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, and rehabilitated in 2003.
