The Valley Pike Covered Bridge is located over Lee Creek along Valley Pike Road near Fernleaf, Kentucky.
The Valley Pike Covered Bridge, a covered Kingpost truss, was constructed to access a farm owned by the Bouldin family in 1864. 1 3 4 The crossing was rebuilt by Stock Bower in 1972. 4
The privately-owned bridge, used for farm access, was considered Kentucky’s shortest covered bridge. 2 After flooding in July 2017 caused severe damage to the crossing, the Valley Pike Covered Bridge was demolished and replaced with a conventional bridge in April 2018.
