The Vincent Eastern Kentucky Railway Bridge No. 1 carried the EK Railway and later KY Route 773 over the Little Sandy River by Vincent Cemetery in Carter County, Kentucky.
The Eastern Kentucky Railway (EK) is a former 36-mile railroad between Riverton (Greenup) and Webbville, Kentucky. The portion between Grayson and Willard, including the first crossing of the Little Sandy River by Vincent Cemetery, was constructed in 1874 and rebuilt in 1913.
The EK went bankrupt in 1919 and the portion between Grayson and Webbville was reorganized as the Eastern Kentucky Southern Railway (EKS) in 1928. The EKS ceased operations altogether in January 1933.
The alignment between Grayson and Hitchins became part of KY Route 773, which included the reuse of the bridge over the Little Sandy River.
In November 2018, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) awarded a $6.2 million project to replace the Vincent Eastern Kentucky Railway Bridge No. 1 and No. 2 with two-lane concrete beam bridges. 1 Construction began in 2019 and was completed in December 2020.
