The Walkersville Covered Bridge is a historic covered Queenpost truss near Walkersville, West Virginia. Built by John G. Sprigg for $567, the crossing was erected over the Right Fork of the West Fork River in 1903. 1 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981, partly renovated in 1984, and extensively rehabilitated which included the replacement of some deteriorated structural members and the installment of new wooden siding in 2003-04. The $230,859 contract was handled by Allegheny Restoration and Builders of Morgantown.
