The Sistersville Ferry is a toll ferry over the Ohio River between Sistersville, West Virginia and Fly, Ohio.
In continuous operation since 1815, the Sisterville Ferry is the only ferry remaining along a 277-mile section of the Ohio River between Ohio and West Virginia and the oldest ferry in the state of Ohio. 1 A new $780,000 vessel was put into operation in 1999, nearly doubling the capacity of carrying just one tractor-trailer or eight cars.
