Knowlton Covered Bridge

The Knowlton Covered Bridge, also known as Long or Old Camp Covered Bridge, carried Old Camp Road over the Little Muskingum River in Monroe County, Ohio.


The three-span covered multiple Kingpost through truss was constructed in 1887 1 and last rehabilitated in 1995.

    Could you please tell me as to whom built the bridge? I know Knowlton’s in my family tree and wondering if Daniel or his father William built it or was it just given that name? Thank you Joyce
